The concept or method of mosquito misting has existed for centuries. Many different systems are available today that promise to eliminate mosquitoes, bugs and flying insects. This system’s invention and conceptualization is evident. They carry disease and bite both humans as well as animals. It is possible that the diseases they spread can cause serious harm to animals or humans. They are so small that they can slip through any mesh with holes, and even into doorways as the doors open and shut. It is considered a blessing that a misting mosquito system was invented, particularly in this day and age when diseases like hemorrhagic fevour, malaria, etc. are spreading across the nation.

It Works

This system works by spraying an active substance on or near the home at regular intervals. This system uses pyrethrum to spray at designated intervals. Pyrethrum is an effective repellent for mosquitos. The majority of mosquito misting system available come equipped with several sprayers as well as a hose that can be used to cover an average sized home. Many manufacturers recommend placing nozzles that spray pyrethrum under the eaves and in other places where the insect may enter, thrive or remain.

It is made from organic compounds that have been proven to effectively manage, repel and control mosquitoes. The spraying substance is usually a mixture of organic substances and other chemicals. For safety, the mixture is determined by manufacturing companies. This substance may make home owners happy, but also resigned. It is easy to degrade and will not be as effective under heat. The effects of the substance may not be as lasting as they would wish, but it also reduces the chance that it will harm other organisms. According to research, the misting of mosquitoes with this substance does not harm mammals. However, it can cause allergic reactions in some people. Homes with those who are prone to allergy to the substance may not benefit fully from its use.
